Today, I have the review of ICK Cherie 3 Tone Brown lens and My final collection for the original Love Live! Muse trio, Minami Kotori's wig!
I hope this will be helpful for those who are planning to attend some cosplay convention over the summer and is planning to do some cosplay of your favorite love live character!

I've been recently loving the 3 Tone color lenses so much, because they actually appear more natural for the daily uses, as well as being great for cosplay lenses!!

Comfort, Now for past few weeks, Pullman area has been very dry and windy, which made it harder for me to wear yearly lenses (I've been using daily use lenses for more convenience and comfort)
But this lens actually felt quite good on my eyes!
I was slightly concerned because I have not used ICK brand that much before, so I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into.
But after trying it out for awhile, it actually came to fit my eyes quite well similar to my favorite lenses of all time "Colors of the Wind" series.
I was very satisfied with it!
But this lens actually felt quite good on my eyes!
I was slightly concerned because I have not used ICK brand that much before, so I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into.

I was very satisfied with it!
Color, I was quite impressed with the colors of this lens.
From my past experience of "Brown 3 Tone" lenses, they always turned out to be too orange tinted for my liking, which made my eyes look too fierceful.
But this lens actually gives more yellow greenish tone to it, which was unusual for me.
It made my eyes to appear very gentle and not too harsh.
For Kotori cosplay, I felt like this is one of the best brown lens you can go with!
From my past experience of "Brown 3 Tone" lenses, they always turned out to be too orange tinted for my liking, which made my eyes look too fierceful.
But this lens actually gives more yellow greenish tone to it, which was unusual for me.

For all those readers, whose been reading my blog for quite sometime will know that I am not a big fan of large rim around the circle lenses.
I know everyone has different preferences and what not, but for myself, I am more into more subtle and natural appearance than making my eyes appear huge!
I was very happy to see how thin the rims were, and not only that the way the colors are printed.
When I look at the prints on the lens, it reminds me of sunflowers~~~

Enlargement, This is definitely one of the biggest circle lens you can get in size.
Usually I am not too much of fan of 15mm circle lenses.
However, because the rim is so thin, despite the diameter of the lens, enlargement is quite subtle.
I was very satisfied with that, and it did surprised me to see that this lens is supposed to be 15mm.
If you are looking for some nice cosplay lens for the Kotori or any other Yellowish brown eyed characters, I feel like this is one of good choice of circle lens to go with!
Now that we looked at the lens, now lets take a look at the wig I got!
Package for wigs actually came lot quicker than I expected, cause upon my ordering, I received them within a week to couple weeks!
Which is really fast
And this actually came in nicely secured plastic wrap, which prevents any moisture or tear from happening during shipping process
This wig comes in two parts: with main wig and the hair attachment
To be honest, I wasn't actually expecting to see the hair attachment, cause the main wig itself is quite full of hair, I didn't feel like it was needed.
For Kotori's signature hair knot, they place rubber band to keep that know in place.
If you don't like it, you can probably replace it with other hair tie, but since I was gonna put bow over it anyway, I left it as the way it came.
(Hair bow did not come with the wig, it was purchased separately)

Now, I've owned some cosplay wigs before from my cosplay days, and to be honest
unless you are looking at the lens hands on, its hard to get good quality wig online!!
But I was really impressed with this wig, because it is made out of real hair!
And not only that, it was actually full with hair on the wig!
Now, when you get short length wigs, sometimes it becomes problematic cause it would be lack of hair
That's what I was afraid of to be honest, but I was impressed how full of hair it was
which gave illusion of real hair!
As I have mentioned above, this wig is really full in volume so I decided it flip it inside out to see how it is sewn together
And as you can see from the picture, it is sewn slightly closer than how normal wigs are sewn, which makes any gaps to be invisible, as well as hiding the seams on the top of the wig
This allows you to have much more natural styling for those characters that does not have any bangs in front
I speak from my experience, when I had such difficult times finding right cosplay wig that does not show any seams showing, when I am playing characters without bangs in front
Since it was hard to find those type of wigs, I always had to use my own hair for it
But with this typical design, you don't have to worry about it!

And as you can see from the picture, it is sewn slightly closer than how normal wigs are sewn, which makes any gaps to be invisible, as well as hiding the seams on the top of the wig

I enjoyed trying this wig on, cause I didn't had any difficulties in putting it on since it didn't tangled as much as I expected.
And also I didn't had to do any extra styling or cutting the wig, cause it has just the perfect length
on the side burns, the nape area and the bang!!
Only thing that you may want to consider is just keeping the hair parted in the front area, as how it is parted initially with safety pin, until you are about to go out to the conventions!!
And the fact this is made out of real human hair, you can use hair straightener on it, if you are wanting to do any styling to it (just be sure to keep on low heat setting)
