I believe every year or so, UNIQSO change their free circle lens case, and I have to say I always love this new changes!

This time I got the ones with cute design on the caps in different color and design, which makes it easier to tell apart

This lens is 2 tone lens, which creates little more vivid and more simple appearance to your eyes

And since I was looking for some nice "cool" appearance lens for my Levi cosplay for Shigeki no Kyojin make-up, I thought I would try grey one out

And I have to say it did gave the appearance that I was hoping to get! o(*>ω<*)o

Comfort, I knew this lens was gonna be rather bit dry for my eyes since the water content of this lens is quite low

Compare to the recent lens I've been wearing I felt slight dryness from this lens from wearing it for couple hours

It may varies from people, but for someone with dry eyes like myself it can be little bit uncomfortable, unless you are putting in eye drops in you eyes once in awhile

Hula Effect, Surprisingly I didn't feel any Hula effect when I was moving my eyes in exaggerated movement considering how dry it felt

I think that is because the lens is slightly thin which allows much better settlement on your eyes

I have to give perfect score for this portion cause of that reason

Doughnut Effect, I had to give 3 out of 5 for this category, mainly because this lens is slightly transparent you can see the gap between the lens and my eyes

I mean, it is hardly noticeable unless you are exaggerating your eye movements, but even if there wasn't much movement going on, you can see it slightly

Color, Even though some parts were little bit disappointing, I have to say I really like the color of this lens

It is quite hard to get nice decent looking grey color lens which will give pure grey color to your eyes

Other ones that I have tried on, they are more likely to give darker grey appearance to it

(Comparing ones that has similar design to it)

That is probably because color pigments blends in with your actual eye color too much, which ends up changing the color of the lens

Design, I feel like this lens gives nice natural appearance to your eyes, since it is only using two shades of grey in solid light grey prints and dotty dark grey prints

What I found interesting about this particular design cause near the iris area, the lens has few gaps which allows your natural eye color to pick out
I feel like this gives some nice natural appearance to your eyes, but I think that will only work for the most usual eye color lens, like grey, blue, brown and green!


Enlargement, Dolly Eye Starry Eye is generally smaller than other lens that I have tried out
And it wouldn't give as much as enlargement you would look for since this lens does not use black rim
As you probably figured by now, I wanted to go for natural looking lens for Levi look, cause he has more of sharper looking eyes than one of those dolly anime eyes
I really liked the slight enlargement it gave me, so I gave 4 out of 5


If you are looking for some nice cosplay lens for the characters from Attack on Titan, I feel like Starry Eye would be good series to try out for!!


Now that we looked at the lens, now lets take a look at the wig I got!

Package for wigs actually came lot quicker than I expected, cause upon my ordering, I received them within a week to couple weeks!

Which is really fast

And this actually came in nicely secured plastic wrap, which prevents any moisture or tear from happening during shipping process

Once you open up your package, you will see securely stored wig, which will be in ziplock bag with cardboard surrounding them to prevent the shape from changing

And the small nets will be wrapped over it to give more protection for wig

Now, I've owned some cosplay wigs before from my cosplay days, and to be honest

unless you are looking at the lens hands on, its hard to get good quality wig online!!

But I was really impressed with this wig, because it is made out of real hair!

And not only that, it was actually full with hair on the wig!

Now, when you get short length wigs, sometimes it becomes problematic cause it would be lack of hair

That's what I was afraid of to be honest, but I was impressed how full of hair it was 

which gave illusion of real hair!

As I have mentioned above, this wig is really full in volume so I decided it flip it inside out to see how it is sewn together
And as you can see from the picture, it is sewn slightly closer than how normal wigs are sewn, which makes any gaps to be invisible, as well as hiding the seams on the top of the wig
This allows you to have much more natural styling for those characters that does not have any bangs in front

I speak from my experience, when I had such difficult times finding right cosplay wig that does not show any seams showing, when I am playing characters without bangs in front
Since it was hard to find those type of wigs, I always had to use my own hair for it
But with this typical design, you don't have to worry about it!


TEST SHOTS

I enjoyed trying this wig on, cause I didn't had any difficulties in putting it on, cause the length is shorter
And also I didn't had to do any extra styling or cutting the wig, cause it has just the perfect length
on the side burns, the nape area and the bang!!
Only thing that you may want to consider is just keeping the hair parted in the front area, as how it is parted initially with safety pin, until you are about to go out to the conventions!!
And the fact this is made out of real human hair, you can use hair straightener on it, if you are wanting to do any styling to it (just be sure to keep on low heat setting)
