(Review ★) I-Codi Colors of the Wind Blue Violet [SPONSORED by UNIQSO]

Hello Beauty holics!!
I am hoping everyone is having great end of February so far

Today I have a circle lens review which was featured on my latest Make-up Tutorial for, 4-Minute Hyuna's Crazy look
I have never tried I-Codi brand before so it is new for me and for those people who haven't tried out I-Codi brand before, I hope this will be good reference for you!

Appearance:

UNIQSO been offering really reasonable price for express shipping, which varies in different region
To learn more about it, click HERE

Anyhow, I got my package within a week or so from the day I have placed order
And they always be sure to wrap every item to be double wrapped in a bubble wrapped envelope to make sure the vial of the lens doesn't break
And they always include free lens case with your order, so if it your first time ordering from UNIQSO and was wondering about whether you get the lens case or not, don't worry~~!
It's all included!

Now I-Codi's product came in their own signature box, which I found interesting
I don't know if its just me, but looking at this black box of I-Codi seems rather elegant to me

On one of the side, there is slight description of the lens itself
In Korea, this is called "Giselle" instead of "Colors of the Wind," so just keep that in mind

On another side, there's going to be description of the lens itself with information on the prescription of the lens, the date it was produce, date it expires, Base curve of the lens, and Diameter of the lens

In the front and top, there will be name of the lens color
Now there was 50 different colors I could choose from for the Colors of the Wind! (50 COLORS!!!)
I wanted to try the mixture of Blue and Violet for my upcoming project, and also thought of these two colors mixed together seemed interesting, so I couldn't help myself but to pick this color!
I'll go into more details of the color later on

If you look at the top, you will see the indication of where to open the box, in order to get the lens out
It is literally on the top of the box, so it is hard to miss it

You just make slight tear on the lines and pull it to open to box
And the vial will show up!

This lens comes all the way up to -8.50 for prescription so be sure to choose the right one for you

I cannot stress this enough, but be sure to check the lens' condition before opening the vial

Description:
Diameter: 15.0 mm
Water Content: 55%
Base Curve: 8.6 mm
Usage: 1 Year
Price: $22.90 USD (UNIQSO)

The front and back of the lens can be easily tell apart as you can see from the picture
Since the colors of the lens are rather vivid, if it is backward you can see it is slightly faded compare to the right way
So be sure to check the lens before putting it on!

Now remember how I told you there is 50 different colors of this lens?
I can't list all the names of the lens, but let me briefly talk about it
Colors of the Wind comes in different variation of Brown, Blue, Gray, Green, Orange, Pink and Purple
Which give you much more choice to choose from depending on the look you would like to achieve

For more mysterious and fantasy appearance, I recommend you to choose from Pink and Purple tones
For more fiereceful look, I would recommend somewhere between Orange and Yellow
If you are into more of mature look, I recommend Blue and Gray
For more subtle and gentle appearance, I would say Brown and Green shades will work great!

So have fun with picking the colors you like, and also don't forget that you can get 10% off by using my coupon code "khyunwal" with your purchase!

Now, it depends on which color you choose from this series, but Blue Violet that I chose has rather thin black rim compare to some other colors
This is really great to give more natural appearance than the ones with thicker rims, and that's one of the main reason why I chose this color

Light Test:

Hula Effect & Doughnut Effect Test:

*Hula Effect: Occurs when base curve of the lens and your eyes doesn't fit
Difference in Base Curve can cause the lens to not follow your eye movements as well

*Doughnut Effect: Occurs when you can see the gap between the lens and your actual eyes

OVERALL RATING
Comfort: ☆☆★★★ / ★★★★★
Hula Effect:  ★★★★★ / ★★★★★
Doughnut Effect: ★★★★★ / ★★★★★
Color: ★★★★★ / ★★★★★
Design: ★★★★★ / ★★★★★
Enlargement: ★★★★★ / ★★★★★

Comfort, now I don't know if it happened cause my eyes were super dry or what, but I have hard time putting this lens on at first couple times, cause it kept getting folded and almost got under my eyelids!! It scared me so much! And it felt quite rather stuffy for me, it's not that lens material itself was thick or anything like that, but for my sensitive eyes this was rather unbreathable for my eyes
So I had to give 3 out of 5

Hula Effect, For the Hula effect, even though the lens felt little bit uncomfortable, it didn't cause any trouble with following my eye movements
It actually follows my eye movement very well, so I didn't had any case of blurry vision

Doughnut Effect, this lens has very vivid print and color
Therefore, you couldn't see much gap between my actual iris and the lens itself
Even with exaggerated eye movements, I didn't see any gaps
So I gave perfect score for that category

Color, I am very satisfied with the color, cause I haven't seen that many circle lens which looks almost exactly alike the way it looks by itself when you put it over the dark brown eyes
So if you are in need of vivid lens color for dark eyes, I highly recommend trying out this series

Design, Although the rims around the outside of the lens use dotty print, inside uses more solid and stripe prints
If you have read my previous lens reviews, using solid and stripe printing on the circle lens, it allows more of the natural appearance to the eyes compare to using the dotty print for the lens base color

But I do recommend using dotty prints for the rims if they are using black color, cause it will give more subtle appearance

By having these particular designs, it allow this series to appear more natural

Enlargement, Colors of the Wind actually have quite large diameter, since most of the circle lens I own usually have 14.5 mm diameter rather than 15 mm
So it does give quite enlargement, but it doesn't look unnatural since the rims are very thin
I really love the enlargement effect it gives

That was my review of this product, I hope you guys enjoyed reading this and hopefully it would be good reference for you guys
